 TRANSACTION ACCOUNT GUARANTEE PROGRAM First Vision Bank is participating in the “Transaction Account Guarantee Program.” Funds held in non-interest bearing transaction accounts and interest bearing NOW accounts with an interest rate of .5% or less at this bank are fully insured by the FDIC until June 30, 2010. Funds swept or transferred to a non-transaction account or any interest bearing account paying in excess of .5% continue to be insured by the FDIC up to $250,000.00, but do not have the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee. FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 per depositor through December 31, 2013. |
